Busy Spring

In Uncategorized on March 29, 2010 at 6:11 pm

In the pic, our chickens are enjoying the spring grass shoots and worms, and laying beautiful eggs. Organic greens and vegetables from a local farm feed our farm animals. Another pig farrowed, and we have eleven healthy piglets. This pic was taken while she was taking a break from “pushing” and giving the piglets “on the ground” an opportunity to nurse.

If you want some beautiful local eggs, we have them.  Lots and lots of them. Our hens are fed 100% vegetarian feed, and are able to scratch and forage for crickets, worms, grass and other fun things in the sunshine… or in the rain, like we have experienced most recently. Eggs are only $3 a dozen.
