Today, just an hour or so from now, Myles will represent our far, in the center of Gill, at a Farmer’s Market sponsored by the Gill Agricultural Commission.  It runs from 10-1 p.m., just across the road from The Gill Tavern.

It is also the Friends of Gill Picnic.  Everyone is invited to participate in the fun, and the annual picnic, hosted by the Friends of Gill.  Technically, this event is going on at the Town Common on

‘Tis the season for Strawberries!  The Friends will be serving strawberry shortcakes, and the Gill Fire Department will be at the grill! The Library and Historical Commission will also have activities.  Plus, new this year, will be a Farmers Market organized by Gill’s Agricultural Commission.

Our little farm will be there with hamburger patties, already formed and frozen, ready for you to take home and use later this summer – a package of four, 4oz. burgers, (a one pound package in total) is $5.50.  There is also Maple Syrup Cured, Hickory Smoked Thick Cut bacon from our pastured heritage breed pigs available, and it is great in BLTS!  Grassfed ground beef, breakfast sausage, hot Italian sausage… and so much more.  Just look for the Wells Tavern Farm Sign under the tan canopy on the Common in Gill.
