Hello to all of our new friends. Greetings to friends of old. My husband, Myles, and brother-in-law, Bill, met a number of you today at the Farmers Market in Turners Falls. I was busy with my off-farm employment, and missed meeting you. It sounded like a diverse market, with a strong local selection of foods.
I will be blogging less often for the next few weeks, perhaps only a few times a week, while the duties of farming continue to be difficult through two feet of snow, ice, slush, mud and everything else that mother nature throws at us.
I am collecting fabulous farm recipes for a Wells Tavern Farm Cookbook, which I hope to publish in time for the summer farmer’s markets. If you have a family recipe that you would like to share, please send it along.
